The Ballston Spa Central School District currently serves 4,400 students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, 25% of whom are eligible for free or reduced lunch. The Ballston Spa Central School District is located in Saratoga County, in upstate New York. The town is 40 minutes north of the capital district and on the surface appears quaint. The district provides a rigorous and challenging academic program along with extensive opportunities in the arts, athletics, a wide variety of clubs and activities and a strong support services network for all of our children. In 2010, Ballston Spa High School was recognized by Newsweek Magazine as one of “America’s Best High Schools.” Our Board of Education is very committed to our community and their involvement in our district, and we firmly stand behind our motto, “Educating Everyone Takes Everyone.” On a daily basis, you can see parents, volunteers, service organizations and businesses incorporated into our schools and programs.
We are excited about the future in our area and the growing community of new businesses as well as residents to this region. Our schools are leaders in the region in innovative academic programming and are at the forefront of providing curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of emerging technologies and evolving societal needs. Our students will be well prepared for their futures as they complete our graduation competencies during their school years in Ballston Spa.
