Time Critical Update: SSEP on STS-134 National Conference in Washington, DC, July 6 and 7, 2011

We have now put up a new STS-134 National Conference in Washington, DC page at this website. It can always be accessed through the Current Flight Opportunities button in the navigation banner at the top of any page on this site.

Please review the page, which includes an overview of the conference, conference opportunities and expectations, a tentative agenda, and hotel information.

We are sending out a separate request to all SSEP on STS-134 Community Program Directors and Co-Directors for an update to the number of attendees traveling to Washington, DC, to attend the conference. We need updated numbers by May 13, 2011.

The Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) is a program of the National Center for Earth and Space Science Education (NCESSE) in the U.S., and the Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Space Education internationally. It is enabled through a strategic partnership with DreamUp PBC and NanoRacks LLC, which are working with NASA under a Space Act Agreement as part of the utilization of the International Space Station as a National Laboratory. SSEP is the first pre-college STEM education program that is both a U.S. national initiative and implemented as an on-orbit commercial space venture.
