Since October of 2011, Diane Matthews has been a part of the education team at the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) where she is responsible for establishing and managing a broad spectrum of space-related programs for students, teachers and the general public. CASIS is a National Partner on SSEP.
Ms. Matthews came to CASIS with 25 years of expertise in the field of education. She has served as the Director of Education for a state agency where she coordinated and managed federal and state funded science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) projects on a statewide basis. Through other past management and education positions, Ms. Matthews brings experience in curriculum development, professional development, instructional systems design, grant development and classroom teaching.
Diane holds a B.S degree in Elementary Education and a M.A. degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Central Florida.
